PaperArtsy Stamp Card with Infusions Background

card 1

Today I am sharing a quickie card I made using my new PaperArtsy stamps and Infusions powdered inks.  The latest topic at the blog is "fabric."  Which comes just when I have stored all of my fabric in the studio merger.  I scoured and scoured my room for remnants, but only came up with these torn strips that I dye for ribbons. I tucked them neatly behind my layers so the fringe would show.

card 2

I experimented with infusions on heavy weight tissue packaging.  This particular tissue had a lot of wax on it and didn't quite absorb the ink, so the color was very mottled by the time I dried it.  However, I still ended up with those bits of color specific to Infusions.  :)

card 3

I decided to tear the tissue with my ruler and glue it onto kraft.  I love embossing torn kraft edges.  I added some faux stitching and layered on a debossed kraft core card, which I sanded and inked a little.   Below you see some of the wrinkles I added when gluing the tissue.  Love.  <3

Love this whimsical image and how you have used it Autumn - Love that embossed edge, and the wonderful crinkles in the tissue paper, the frayed edge of fabric is also a beautiful addition.

I absolutely love the combination of green and gold, and the embossed edges look fantastic. The layering over the frayed fabric and then the tinted, debossed and distressed edge is such a great look!

How do I love this... let me start by county the embossed kraft. I cut my papers and tissues roughly by using a designated score-cutter hard. And that is FAUX stitching? Are you kidding? I had to look so close! 3000 miles is along distance when examining stitchin'! Girl, you go!
